The District, Northern Virginia and suburban Maryland

Service covers the whole of the DC metro. Inside the District, that means the federal core from Capitol Hill to Foggy Bottom, the office blocks of downtown and K Street, the embassies and hotels around Dupont Circle, and the older streets of Georgetown. Across the Potomac it covers Arlington from Rosslyn to National Landing and the Tysons and Reston corridor out toward Dulles. North of the District it covers Bethesda and Chevy Chase along Wisconsin Avenue.

Longer trips to Annapolis, Baltimore and points between run on the same flat-rate basis, and a single hourly booking can cross all three jurisdictions in a day.

Crossing the river

Four bridges carry most traffic between the District and Virginia: the Key Bridge from Georgetown to Rosslyn, the Roosevelt Bridge from Foggy Bottom to I-66, the Memorial Bridge to the Parkway, and the 14th Street Bridge on I-395 toward Reagan National. Chauffeurs choose the crossing that is moving at the time, which is often the difference between a comfortable airport run and a tight one.
